FACEMOVEMENT

Not younger.
Less held.

Facemovement is an original method of working with the face that combines facial massage techniques with facial exercises and postural work.

The idea behind Facemovement is to understand how each face works and what tension patterns it carries. We look at where excessive tension has developed in the face and whether it has developed asymmetrically. Facemovement is a method that teaches you how not to accumulate in your face what you do not need, and how to regain freedom of movement and your own expression.

We focus on lifting from the face the weight created by excessive muscular tension and on re-educating movement patterns of the face, neck and body, allowing us to influence the desired shape of the face over time.

For each person, we select the right combination of techniques to help restore a state of muscular balance that allows the face to regain its freedom and proper proportions.

EDYTA
MAKSIMOWICZ

Edyta Maksimowicz — creator of Facemovement and author of the idea “Not Younger. Less Held.”

Edyta Maksimowicz creates original concepts and experiences related to the face, movement, tension and expression. Facemovement grew out of her way of looking at the face — not through the lens of age, but through how it is used: where excessive tension has developed, whether it sits asymmetrically, which facial movement patterns have become established and to what extent they limit the face’s freedom of movement and expression.

She is the creator of an app for which she designed an algorithm that matches facial exercise and massage techniques, as well as body work, to an individual analysis result. She creates original Facemovement protocols as well as bespoke concepts and experiences for brands, using manual work, movement, expression and her own ways of working with the face.

She is also a speaker at industry congresses. As an Experience Creator and Concept Creator, she works at the intersection of beauty, fashion, luxury, film and media. She has created work for Schwarzkopf Professional, among others. Her approach is based on the belief that working with the face should support life, freedom and human expression.

STUDIO

Facemovement Studio is a place where we work according to the original Facemovement method.

At the Studio, you can experience Facemovement in three ways: through Face Recomposition, Workout and Facemovement Kobido. These are three different protocols within one concept of working with the face. Facemovement Kobido is the lightest form of work, Workout is more intensive, while Face Recomposition is the most individual and the strongest.

We choose the way of working according to the tension, facial movement patterns and individual needs of each face.

Facemovement Studio is located in Mokotów, Warsaw.
